MJS Engineering & Land Surveying, PC is a professional corporation with offices in Goshen, Orange County, NY. The company was founded in 1996 by Michael J. Sandor, PE, who holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from the City College of New York and a Master of Environmental Engineering degree from Manhattan College. He is also an adjunct instructor in the surveying program at Sullivan County Community College. He has over 30 years experience working on projects, both nationally and internationally.
Extreme Makeover: Home EditionWe are pleased to announce our involvement with Extreme Makeover: Home Edition which benefitted the Korpai family of Crawford, New York.
Our team of engineers, surveyors and designers worked closely with the architect, Machado Architectural Group, the mechanical engineer, NLG Engineering, PC and the general contractor, Hearthstone Contracting Inc. to prepare the site plan for the new home and attached meeting hall. We prepared a boundary and topographic survey of the site, septic design and provided construction layout of all the site improvements.
The project was challenging because of the accelerated pace of the design and construction. Coordination with the other professional and various construction trades was very important as well as the many volunteers who were a part of this charitable cause.
